WITCH – A MAGICAL CHARACTER OR BOOK
I haven’t read many magical books, however I did just read Toil and Trouble which is a witchy anthology. It wasn’t all I hoped it would be and some stories were lost on me unfortunately.
WEREWOLF – THE PEFECT BOOK TO READ AT NIGHT
At night the perfect genre for me would be cute contemporary so I can go to be with all the warm fuzzy feels. So, I would say maybe something like The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang.
FRANKENSTEIN – A BOOK THAT TRULY SHOCKED YOU
I haven’t been that shocked by many books, however the endings of all the books in the Paper Princess series by Erin Watt took my by complete surprise and always made me need to read on!
THE DEVIL – A DARK AND EVIL CHARACTER
Questions like these always make me realise I need to read more books with villains. I hardly read any and I must be missing out! My stock answer for this is Rhysand from ACOTAR, and only ACOTAR as he obviously grew on me.
GRIM REAPER – A CHARACTER THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE DIED
This could be a bit of a spoiler question couldn’t it! Thankfully my brain is obviously protecting me from the trauma and has blanked out all the unjust character deaths I have read! #copingmechanisms
ZOMBIE – A BOOK THAT MADE YOU HUNGRY FOR MORE
The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James because it was just a brilliant but tiny book and I need a sequel or some more chapters or just something!!
GARGOYLE – A CHARACTER THAT YOU WOULD PROTECT AT ALL COSTS
Izzy from The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven. The poor girl has so much awful stuff happen to her over the course of 300 pages and I’d like to make it all stop!
VAMPIRE -A BOOK THAT SUCKED THE LIFE OUT OF YOU
Show Stopper by Hayley Barker, as I had to read it for my book club but I just was not into it at all. It wasn’t for me and I was pushing through desperately and it was putting me in a right slump!
GHOST – A BOOK THAT STILL HAUNTS YOU
This one still haunts me because of how bad it was… The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I just had no idea what was going on throughout it all. I really thought at the end everything would become clear, but not a chance. It all went straight over my head.
DEMON – A BOOK THAT REALLY SCARED YOU
I honestly haven’t been scared by a book…. Please take this as a challenge and let me know in the comments the scariest book you’ve read so I can fix this.
SKELETON – A CHARACTER YOU HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH
November 9 by Colleen Hoover… I’m sorry but I really enjoy her books and this one was jut a let down and the character I have a bone to pick with is the love interest; Ben. He was a generally awful person and I just felt so let down by him, he pushed Fallon constantly in ways she didn’t seem comfortable with.
MUMMY – A BOOK THAT YOU WOULD PRESERVE THROUGH TIME
I would preserve A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara because it is such a long and lovely book and everyone should read it. It also is a book that should stand the test of time.
CREEPY DOLL – A COVER TOO SCARY TO LOOK AT
I cant think of any scary covers actually… How disappointing! Again, please leave me recs in the comments, scare me!
I tag Beth from Divine World of Books and anyone else that wants to complete this tag 🙂
