2019 Releases I’m Excited About (Bookmas #3)

Today on Bookmas, we need to talk about my most anticipated releases for 2019! I actually found this post quite hard as I hadn’t really put too much thought or research into what is coming out in 2019. I also am not in the middle of many series where I am waiting for the next book so that brings the numbers down a bit too! But without further ado, let’s get into it.

untitled99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne

Since I read The Hating Game in one sitting in 2017, I am excited to read a new book by this author. It’s about a girl who’s always been in love with her brothers best friend and I’m glad it’s another adult contemporary and I am hoping it will live up what I am expecting.

Crescent City by Sarah J Maas

I really loved ACOTAR, and I enjoy Throne of Glass enough so I would be interested to read her debut adult fantasy. Normally adult fantasy isn’t really my thing, but I am hoping that since she primarily writes YA it will be more accessible. It is also reported to be more modern and I think that will also help.

32716442The Quiet at the End of the World by Lauren James

Who wouldn’t want to read a book about the youngest people on earth after a virus causing infertility?? I really enjoyed Lauren James’ last book The Loneliest Girl in the Universe so I have high hopes for another sci-fi/dystopian book from her, she seems to execute them well.

26032887The Wicked King (Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black

So, I didn’t LOVE The Cruel Prince but it was enjoyable and I am really interested to see where the series goes. It is an interesting universe to be immersed in, I just hope there is a little less politics in this instalment. The characters are so unique and I want to see how they develop.

What are some of your most anticipated releases for 2019? Let me know down below!

I wasn’t planning on reading The Cruel Prince I’m meeting Cassie and Holly in February so it’s now on my list 😂 Never read any of her books before and I will feel awful if I don’t at least try to read one!

I didn’t really get the hype, but it was enjoyable enough! I hope you like it! I did consider reading the Coldest Girl in Cold Town a while ago, but I’m not so sure now.

Ah if you didn’t like it, I probably won’t 😂 I bought it for 99p on the Kindle app so at least if I hate it I didn’t spend a lot of money xD I don’t think I’ve heard great things about that book tbh

        I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, I just didn’t love it. It was okay, worth a try i’d say… but don’t hold me accountable if it’s crap! 😂😂
