2020 POPSUGAR Reading Challenge

This year I loosely attempted the POPSUGAR reading challenge, but I mainly tried to fit my books to the list after the fact, instead of reading with the challenge in mind. I posted a brief update of how I was getting on half way through in July, but I will post a full wrap up of how I did soon.

In 2020 I plan to try a little bit harder with it. I also think the challenge seems slightly easier this coming year, which I am pleasantly surprised with. Although I might change my mind by the middle of the year.

Here is where the challenge was announced and where you can get all the information. There also is a Goodreads group you can join to discuss the challenge and get ideas for those harder challenges, but here is the full list:

I think the challenges I will cross of easily are things like a 2020 release, a book published the month of my birthday (April) and a book I meant to read in 2019. I think I will have many options for all of these and they will get me off to a good start.

Are you going to be taking part in the challenge? What’s your favourite challenge?

I’ve considered trying the Popsugar challenge before, but some of the prompts seem so weird! The fact that there’s Goodreads list though means it might be easier. A book featuring one of the deadly sin sounds fun! Good luck with the challenge πŸ™‚

I think the only prompt on here that I may just skip if I do this challenge is the western. I’ve never been a big fan of the genre so it would be pretty difficult for me to actually find something I would want to read
