About

tumblr_o9non8kpzf1ty8spoo1_250

I’m Kate, a 25 year old Psychology graduate based in Suffolk, England.

I have enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember and I primarily enjoy YA, thrillers, contemporary and new adult. I’m trying to branch out into fantasy and sci-fi also. I am a giant mood reader which means my TBR is constantly moving around. I often am desperate to pick up a book, but then my mood changes and something else comes up, but I think this is a great way to read as it means I am giving myself the best chance to enjoy the books I am reading.

Obviously, I am newer to blogging and since the piles of books I own keep on growing and growing, I thought this would be the perfect place to catalog and discuss them. I post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I am very proud of maintaining this schedule for a number of months.

I technically started my blog at the end of 2016, however I did not give it enough time at all. In June/July 2018 I decided I was going to make blogging a priority and I have ensured I post three time a week since then.

Please feel free to say hi, my email is bookloverkate@outlook.com if you have any further questions or wish to enquire about reviews.

Happy reading!

Omg! A fellow newbie to blogging!!! *frantically waves* 😂

I’m so glad to meet someone who prefers contemporary to fantasy and sci-fi because oh my God, almost everyone I meet in the bookish community are fantasy die-hards. Don’t get me wrong, I love speculative fiction as much as the next person, but there’s just something about realist fiction that draws me in. I feel like people stay away from realist because they think it’s restricting, but I actually think otherwise. Reality is a much wider playground than we thought. 😊

Sorry if I’m rambling on and on in the comment. I’m just really talkative. 😂

    Hiiii! 👋🏻👋🏻

Thank you, I totally agree! I mean if I’m going to give fantasy my time, I’d rather it be like set in our world but with a twist! A whole new world is confusing and takes so long to wrap your head around and it almost feels like time wasted! 🙈

You ramble away, can’t beat a good chat… especially about books!
